Job Summary: As the HR Department General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department. Your role involves managing a team of HR professionals, overseeing hiring of quality talent, implementing HR policies and procedures, and providing support to consultants and managers across the organization. You will contribute to the development and execution of HR programs that align with the company's objectives and foster a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead the HR team, providing guidance and support to team members
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to facilitate professional development
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and ensure timely and effective recruitment
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for the company including streamlining job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding
- Establish and handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures
- Conduct investigations into employee complaints or concerns and recommend appropriate actions
- Establish and administer the performance management process, ensuring timely goal setting, performance reviews and guidance on performance improvement plans to consultants
- Identify training needs and coordinate the development and delivery of training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
- Implement and enforce HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, stay up-to-date on changes in employment laws and update policies accordingly
- Design and implement compensation and benefits programs
- Contribute to the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives
- Organize and facilitate employee recognition programs and events
- Generate and analyze HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs
- Prepare regular reports for management on key HR indicators
