Position :- Head of Product

About the role :-

We're in search of an experienced individual to manage our multidisciplinary development team. As an ideal candidate, you will have a keen eye for gaps in consumer product offerings and the innovative mindset to fill them.


- You're a highly skilled market analyst with a proven ability to strategize the full lifecycle of product production-from conception through release. You may already be a confident leader who has experience guiding cross-functional teams in the successful creation of products that improve consumer experience and grow market share.


- You will be a key member of the team tasked with driving the build out of our Remote Sensing and data initiatives. You're a highly skilled market analyst with a proven ability to strategize the full lifecycle of product production-from conception through release. You may already be a confident leader who has experience guiding cross-functional teams in the successful creation of products.

Role Responsibilities :

- This role is responsible for complete ownership of strategy and roadmap for a wide range of use-cases and internal business processes.

- Analyse consumer needs, current market trends, and potential partnerships from an ROI and build vs. buy perspective.

- Assess current competitor offerings, seeking opportunities for differentiation.

- Analyse product requirements and develop appropriate programs to ensure they're successfully achieved.

- Develop, implement, and maintain go-to-market timelines across tech and operations.

- Holding responsibility for your data product(s), and ensuring we deliver value and quality.

- Understanding and handling complex technical and scientific concepts, ranging from remote sensing, to biophysical crop and soil modeling, and data science.

- Understanding system-level constraints and the underlying science, as well as the reality of the agriculture industry, and the necessity to make our products financially viable.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities :

- Drive the execution of all product lifecycle processes for products, including product research, market research, competitive analysis, planning, positioning, roadmap development, requirements development, and product launch.

- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototype construction and final product development by engineering teams.

- Create product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, revenue, and ROI.

- Analyse market data to develop sales strategies, and define product objectives for effective marketing communications plans.

- Collaborate closely with engineering, production, marketing, and sales teams on the development, QA, and release of products and the balance of resources to ensure success for the entire organisation

Qualification :

- Bachelor's degree in business, industrial engineering, or a field tied to the product's sector (tech, finance, etc.) required, master's in engineering.

- Have hands-on experience in remote sensing and image processing, with a preference for the development of analytical insights in the context of vegetation, environment, and agriculture.

- Have hands-on experience with hyperspectral and / or thermal infrared satellite image technology is a plus.

- Proven experience overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle.
