Position :- Senior Manager, Business Development-Carbon Credits
Location : Gurgaon
Job Description : We are looking for an experienced business development manager in the field of carbon credit. You will lead business development activities for carbon credits, including targeting potential clients, relationship building, proposing services, and closing business opportunities.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the initial set-up phase to establish trade execution capabilities.
- Understand the client's carbon offset needs and provide tailored solutions in collaboration with our sustainability and sales/account experts.
- Generate Leads from Companies with Net Zero targets & close the lead with high level of customer satisfaction.
- Develop appropriate goals, metrics, and processes, for measuring business performance, and client satisfaction.
- Actively engage with the Social Media Agency to build the organizations' brand image and scale up the customer outreach programme.
- Build network of Referral partners, Industrial Associations, Government Agencies for Business Development
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Master's degree in finance, economy and/or energy/environmental studies with economic profile.
- Strong interest in sustainability and environmental market mechanisms.
- 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Deep knowledge and expertise in environmental markets, especially in voluntary carbon markets.
- Knowledge of nature-based solutions and a proven understanding of market functionality and price implications from supply and demand.
- Familiarity with carbon emissions reduction verification methodologies and standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication across a wide range of audiences.
- Should be open to travel
