About the Job:
- Responsible for developing and executing the overall sales strategy for Iron Business (Sponge Iron, Pellet, SiMn, Pig Iron and Ferro products) for the company.
- Primary duties include managing and leading Iron sales operations, driving sales growth, and directing sales staff to achieve the company's Iron sales goals.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Leading Business Development:
- Responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies to promote the company's products of Iron Business (Sponge Iron, Pellet, SiMn, Pig Iron and Ferro products) in the market.
- This includes identifying target markets, analysing customer needs, and creating campaigns that will effectively reach and engage potential customers.
- Contribute to the Iron production planning meetings that defines the production and sales target and timelines.
- Liaise with relevant department heads to ensure all sales orders are met on time.
- Responsible for leading a team of sales managers, account executives, and representatives, and providing relevant support and guidance as and how required, including but not limited to, setting clear goals and objectives, providing guidance and support, and ensuring that all team members are working together to achieve the company's sales objectives.
- Responsible to ensure Repeat Orders are received from the existing customers and ensuring new customers are acquired
- Conduct market research to stay updated with latest trends and changes, to identify new opportunities and potential threats and use this information to amend and/or update their sales strategies.
- Work closely and collaboratively with the Production team and Costing team to ensure all activities and contributions are aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
Sales Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and industry partners to stay informed about their needs and preferences, and to promote the company's Iron products and offerings effectively.
- Regularly interact with key customers to ensure all sales orders are processed on time and that the payments for the same are collected on time.
- Receive, validate, and maintain all sales metrics and report them to relevant stakeholders appropriately.
- Regularly analyse sales metrics such as revenue growth, customer acquisition, and customer retention to evaluate the effectiveness of their sales strategies and revaluate as needed.
- Responsible for managing the sales budget, ensuring that resources are allocated appropriately and that all sales activities are cost-effective.
- Responsible to coordinate with Finance team to ensure cash flows are healthy.
Requirements and Skills:
Desired Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field is required; Master's degree preferred.
Desired Experience:
- 12+ years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in Steel or metals industry.
- 5+ years of leadership experience

- Market Knowledge: A strong understanding of the stainless-steel industry, including market trends, competition, customer needs, and opportunities for growth.
- Sales Management: The ability to create and manage a sales pipeline, including forecasting, monitoring sales metrics, and identifying opportunities for growth.

- Analytical Skills: The ability to analyse data and identify trends, develop insights, and make data-driven decisions to achieve business objectives.
