Job Summary:

- We are seeking a results-driven and proactive Business Development Manager to join our team at ValueFirst.

- The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving the company's sales strategy, identifying new business opportunities, and expanding our client base.

- This position requires a strong understanding of the digital communication industry, excellent relationship-building skills, and the ability to close deals that drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation and Prospecting:

- Identify and generate new business leads through research, networking, and referrals in the digital communication and tech solutions space.

- Qualify leads, set appointments, and develop strategies for converting prospects into clients.

- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients through effective prospecting and relationship-building.

Sales Strategy and Execution:

- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business targets and revenue goals.

- Promote ValueFirst's suite of communication solutions to potential clients in various industries such as retail, finance, healthcare, e-commerce, and others.

- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, ensuring consistent revenue generation.

Client Relationship Management:

- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders.

- Understand clients' business needs and propose customized communication solutions that align with their objectives.

- Provide exceptional customer service and post-sales support to ensure client satisfaction and retention.

Product and Market Knowledge:

- Stay updated on the latest trends in the digital communication space and the products/services offered by ValueFirst.

- Effectively communicate the value proposition of our products and solutions to prospective clients.

- Tailor presentations and demos based on client requirements, showcasing how ValueFirst's offerings can address their pain points.

Negotiation and Closing Deals:

- Lead negotiations, prepare proposals, and finalize contracts with prospective clients.

- Work with internal teams to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of solutions.

- Ensure smooth transition from sales to implementation teams for onboarding and customer satisfaction.

Collaboration with Internal Teams:

- Collaborate with the marketing, product, and customer success teams to align sales strategies and enhance client engagement.

- Provide feedback to internal teams on client needs and market demands to help enhance ValueFirst's product offerings.

Market Research and Competitive Analysis:

- Conduct research on industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify new market opportunities.

- Provide regular updates and reports on competitive analysis and market positioning.

- Suggest strategies for capturing market share and increasing brand awareness.

Reporting and Documentation:

- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and forecasts using CRM tools.

- Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports to senior management, outlining performance, pipeline, and goals.

- Track and report on key sales metrics, such as conversion rates, revenue, and customer acquisition costs.

Skills and Qualifications:

Educational Qualification:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

- An MBA is a plus.

Experience:

- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in the tech, digital communication, or SaaS industry.

- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

- Experience in selling B2B solutions, with a strong focus on relationship-building and consultative sales.

Skills:

- Strong understanding of the digital communication industry, including SMS, email marketing, voice, and chat solutions.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.

- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with C-level executives and decision-makers.

- Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
