Roles and responsibilities:

- Part of valuations team and will have to undertake assignments related to business valuation, equity valuation, financial reporting valuation like impairment testing, purchase price allocation, financial instrument valuation, regulatory valuations under FEMA, Companies Act and IT regulations, Private Equity valuations.

- Understanding of accounting standards relevant to valuations under Ind AS, IFRS and US GAAP.

- Design the detailed project plan as per the expected delivery milestones. Plan resource allocation and ensure delivery within the target budget and high delivery quality

- Conceptualize desired engagement solutions and train team members

- Day to day client management, daily updates to engagements leaders and partners

- Ensure financial analysis, comparable analysis and market data are carried out as per the engagement scope and expected deliverable.

- Gather and analyse information from a variety of appropriate sources relevant to the job, break down knowledge into manageable components of information and provide options and recommendations to draw logical conclusions.

- Experience in carrying out financial reporting valuations like ESOPs, Purchase Price Allocation, Financial Instruments valuation etc.

- Aware of key industry trends and metrics.

- Structure engagement deliverables as per the expectations of the project manager and come up with insights from on ground research and analysis.

- Good report writing and power point presentation skills.

- Establish trusting relationships with client contacts and with team members.

- Demonstrates the ability to change from one task to another

- Offer ideas to address current issues and identifies and act on possibilities.

- Work independently with minimal need for guidance.

- Participate in Business Development Activities (Proposal Writing, Credentials compilation, Preparing Bid documents)

- Perform necessary conflict checks before taking up the engagement.

- Ensure Documentation for all the engagements as per the firm compliance policies.

- Proactively seeks work and reaches out to continually improve self-results and stretch oneself

- Comply with organizational rules, policies, and procedures

Expected profile:

- MBA (top tier B-School), CA or CFA

- 5 - 10 years of experience.

- Prior experience in a professional consultancy firm is preferred

- Executed some of following types of engagements in the past:

- Valuations related to Mergers and Acquisitions. Should have worked on mercy deals.

- Valuation relating to financial reporting which include purchase price allocation, financial instrument valuation, impairment testing, valuation of intangibles.

Skill set:

- Strong inter-personal skills, communication - written and verbal

- Good project management and team management skills

- Strong analytical skills

- Provide justification to valuation conclusion

- Excellent PPT and excel skills

- Ability to effectively manage multiple, concurrent projects and meet deadlines while working both independently and in a team environment

- Attitude: Positive, High on Energy, Adaptable and Accountable, Value Learning and Development, Interact with others in a manner that is respectful, patient, tolerant and understanding

- Demonstrate integrity, values, principles, and work ethic and lead by example

- Willingness to travel within India or abroad

Required Skills:
