Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms to forecast demand accurately.

- Analyze large datasets using R, Python, and SQL to extract insights and identify patterns.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.

- Utilize various data sources to enhance forecasting accuracy and reliability.

- Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.

- Evaluate model performance and make continuous improvements to forecasting methodologies.

- Communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.

- Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in demand forecasting and data science.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.

- Proven experience (2+years) as a Data Scientist or similar role with a focus on demand forecasting.

- Proficiency in programming languages such as R, Python, and SQL.

- Strong understanding of statistical modeling, time series analysis, and machine learning techniques.

- Experience with demand forecasting tools and methodologies.

- Solid grasp of data visualization techniques and tools.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team environment.

- Attention to detail and a passion for solving complex problems.
