HR Consultant / Manager Generalist for a Maritime IT Services Company.
Location: Kanjurmarg (West), Mumbai.
Job Type: Full-time / For Consultant - Minimum 3 Days a Week.
Job Summary:
- The HR Generalist will be responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with senior management.
- This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, affirmative action, and employment law compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement & monitor overall HR strategies, initiatives, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization aligned with overall business objectives.
- Design, develop and implement - Organisational performance management system(PMS).
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process.
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
- Maintain pay plan and benefits program.
- Employee Training & Development: Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
- Diversity and POSH policy.
Minimum Qualifications with Skills:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in human resources management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in HR roles, preferably as an HR Generalist in a reputed corporate or multi-national organization.
- Strong knowledge of HR processes, Central & State employment & labour laws, regulations and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent presentation skills (Verbal + PPT) & proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong organizational, multitasking and time management skills.
- Experience with HR metrics and analytics.
