Job Title : Social Media Manager

Reporting to : Vice President - Marketing

Function : Marketing

Job Summary:

We are a fast-paced company with a lean team, looking for an ambitious Social Media Manager with a sense of creativity who has the ability to think outside the box and oversee the growth of its social media channels. You will be responsible for developing and implementing our Social Media strategy in order to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts.

Job Description:

I Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

- Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences.

- Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals.

- Set specific objectives and report on ROI.

- Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news).

- Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics.

- Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales and customer service to ensure brand consistency.

- Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews.

- Oversee social media accounts design (e.g., Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout).

- Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions.

- Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications.

Job Specifications:

I Qualification(s): Graduated in BA / MA in Journalism and Communication or BSc degree in Journalism, Marketing or relevant field / Experience.

II Experience Nature of Experience: Excellent knowledge and hands on experience in all social media platforms Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices.

Length of Experience: 03 05 years

III Skill Set & Personality Traits required:

- Proven work experience as a social media manager

- Hands on experience in content management

- Excellent copywriting skills

- Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)

- Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics

- Knowledge of online marketing channels

- Familiarity with web design

- Excellent communication skills

- Analytical and multitasking skills

VI Location: Chennai & Bangalore

VII Additional information:

- Candidates with experience in working with Cleartax, LegalRaasta, India Filings, myonlineca are preferred.

- Candidates from Product and Fintech background will be an added advantage.
