Vakilsearch - Legal Advisor - Intellectual Property - LLB

The key responsibilities would include providing national and international clients advisory for Intellectual Property related matters Such as Trademark, Copyright, Patent & Design

Responsibilities and Accountabilities :

- Dealing with Intellectual Property matters

- Ability to advice/handle client queries on IP Practices in India and draft legal opinions.

- Ability to provide client IP Prosecution & litigation advisory to take informed decisions.

- Conducting IP Due Diligence of businesses.

- Drafting IP legal notices/reply to legal notices, response to examination responses and attending TM Registry hearings occasionally.

- Ability to advice on Brand Building & Brand Management

- Meeting / Calling clients for new business acquisition and having legal strategizing sessions with them ensuring 100% legal compliance.

- Good convincing and communication skills.

- Collaborate with different teams in the organization in upselling/cross-selling the legal requisites of the client portfolio handled.

Qualification(s) : LLB

Experience :

- Nature of Experience: Experience at handling IP matters (Trademark, Copyright, Design & Patent)

- Length of Experience: Minimum 0.5 - 2 years IP law experience.

Skill Set & Personality Traits required :

- Good interpersonal skills & Convincing skills required.

- Meticulous attention to detail

- Ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely

- Sound technical knowledge and analytical ability

- Strong professionally - credible with integrity

Age Group : 22 - 29 years

Cost to the company : As per industry norms.
