UX Head - Mobility

Responsibilities

- Own responsibility of the UX piece, work throughout the entire product lifecycle, from initial explorations to actual rollout to customers

- Contribute to the product's features ideas and discoveries.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams like product manager, developers, and visual designers.

- Communicate design concepts through mockups, wireframes or interactive prototypes.

- Develop conceptual diagrams, wireframes, detailed visual mockups, and prototypes.

- Communicate high-level design strategies and detailed interaction behaviors with design specifications and Guidelines

- On the product side, work collaboratively with the Engineering Team to evolve the design to support new features and enhancements.

- Mentor junior members of the design team. Lead by example.

Requirements

- 8+ years of work experience in Interface Design, Interaction Design and Information Architecture. Expert knowledge in Mobility UX space is a must.

- A strong portfolio demonstrating past work experience and relevant, user-centered design solutions, primarily from consumer based products

- An innate capacity for creating engaging, highly usable designs and layouts

- Experience with designing end-user, web-based applications, and mobile applications

- Fluency in best practices for Information Architecture and Interaction Design

- Ability to quickly turn around rigorous wireframes and mockups in an iterative environment

- The ability to provide detailed specifications for our Developers and Engineers to work from

- A strong awareness of common Usability methods and principles

- Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills; the ability to communicate complex, interactive design concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the Organization

- The ability to manage ambiguity, work autonomously, and multi-task in an agile environment

- A clean sense of design aesthetics, and a natural propensity towards simplification over complication
