Job Description :
As a User Experience Designer your role will require you to be involved in all aspects of a product's development, including design, usability, function and branding needs. Your work will be touching the entire end-to-end journey of a user's interaction with a product, and includes identifying new opportunities for the product and business. You will go through each step in the UX design process to make sure that any and all products are designed with the user in mind.
Job Responsibilities :
- Partner with Product Managers and other internal/external stakeholders for research/ requirement understanding
- Conduct brainstorming and ideation sessions based on user research and develop unique insights
- Create user journeys for the required set of scenarios
- Develop information architecture considering all relevant factors
- Design low/high fidelity mock-up screens as per usability guidelines
- Conduct reviews with SME to ensure that the final design is meeting expected functionality
- Create style guides and themes based on the agreed branding and user needs
- Providing interactive wireframe/s for all form factors (mobile/tablet/desktop) with required visual design for consumption by the Engineering and Quality Assurance teams
- Test and Iterate designs in collaboration with other stakeholders
- Define UI patterns and components for consistency without restricting innovation
- Drive the adoption of standard implementations of UI components across the application
Job Requirement :
- 5+ years of professional experience as an interactive designer / user experience designer of which at least 3 years should be in UX, preferably for a product. Understanding of the BFSI domain would be a plus
- In-depth understanding of the steps (research, define, ideate, prototype, visual design, test) involved in user experience process
- Familiarity with the usability heuristics (10 principles) for interface design
- Knowledge of the foundational concepts of design thinking
- Ability to translate user experience concepts and principles into practice
- Proficiency in user centered approach for problem solving
- Good understanding of the web standards and accessibility compliance
- Experience with web and mobile design (iOS and Android)
- Awareness of the gestalt principles and its application in organising content on the user interface
- Strong sense of aesthetics to create a high-class visual language for the application
- Versed in colour psychology, the basic colour theories and emotions linked with different colours and Familiarity with the A/B testing approach.
- Ability to quickly turn around detailed wireframes, mock-ups and visual components in an iterative environment
- Strong visual portfolio with demonstrated examples of designing an interactive application
- Understanding of CSS, HTML, JavaScript (not mandatory but would be useful)
- Experience in prototyping tools like Figma, Axure, Photoshop,Illustrator etc.
