The Role:

Process Consultant

Overview:

The Process Consultant will play a key role in the BPR engagement and in leading process discovery, mapping, and documentation efforts. We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running in this role to reduce process complexity, increase process efficiency, increase process effectiveness, and enable speed of operational processes. This role also involves managing junior consultants and ensuring the successful execution of project phases.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership:

- Lead the team of Process Consultants during the documentation phase, ensuring high-quality deliverables. Act as the lead consultant in Phase 2, managing the execution of process documentation and standardization.

Process Discovery and Analysis:

- Conduct in-depth process discovery and analysis sessions with business SMEs. Identify and document current (As-Is) processes, highlighting areas for improvement. Provide detailed analysis and recommendations for process optimization. Perform Data analysis - financial and non-financial, qualitative, and quantitative. Assist with the analysis and preparation of recommendations that will drive greater productivity, reduce waste, or eliminate duplication.

Process Mapping and Documentation:

- Perform Data gathering - financial and non-financial, qualitative, and quantitative. Collaborate with the Process Architect to design optimized To-Be processes using BPMN or other relevant methodologies. Lead the development of future state process maps, incorporating industry best practices and client-specific requirements. Lead the creation of comprehensive process documentation, ensuring it meets client standards and requirements. Review and validate process documentation prepared by junior consultants.

Client Management and Support:

- Serve as a secondary point of contact for the client, addressing queries and concerns. Ensure client satisfaction through effective communication and delivery of project milestones. Provide training and guidance to client teams on process documentation and standardization.

Team Leadership and Mentorship:

- Mentor and guide junior Process Consultants, providing support and constructive feedback. Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members based on project needs and consultant expertise. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team.

Continuous Improvement:

- Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in process improvement. Contribute to the development of new methodologies and frameworks for process reengineering. Implement strategies to enhance process efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Requisite Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Management, Information Systems, or a related field.

- Strong experience in business process reengineering, process consulting, process improvement, or related roles.

- Knowledge in Asset / Wealth Management.

- Advanced proficiency in process mapping tools and methodologies (e.g., BPMN, Lean, Six Sigma).

- Experience with process mining tools (e.g., Celonis, Signavio) is a plus.

- Strong leadership and project management skills.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

- Strong client management and communication skills.

- Experience in the financial services or wealth management industry is preferred, but not mandatory.
