The Role:

Manager Consulting:

Overview:

The incumbent will lead the BPR engagement with our asset management client, overseeing a team of Process Consultants. This role involves designing and managing the entire project lifecycle, from initial process discovery to final documentation. Design business processes, including characteristics and key performance indicators (KPIs), to meet process and functional requirements. The Process Architect will ensure that client expectations are met and that the project delivers actionable insights and improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership:

- Lead and manage the BPR project, ensuring alignment with client goals and objectives.

- Set up and facilitate process discovery workshops with key stakeholders.

- Develop project plans, timelines, and deliverables.

Process Design:

- Design the overall process architecture for the project.

- Conduct analysis to determine best path for solving business problems/opportunities that may include process improvement, systems enhancement, user training, and/or software procurement.

- Establish methodologies and frameworks for process discovery, mapping, and documentation.

- Review and approve process documentation and mapping outputs.

- Contribute innovative and out-of-the-box thinking to reengineering initiatives.

- Implement strategies to enhance process efficiency.

Client Management:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, managing expectations and ensuring satisfaction.

- Conduct regular meetings with clients to provide updates and gather feedback.

- Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the project.

Team Leadership:

- Supervise and mentor Process Consultants, providing guidance and support.

- Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members based on their skills and project needs.

- Review and assess the performance of team members, providing constructive feedback.

Thought Leadership:

- Bring thought leadership to the table, providing insights into industry best practices and emerging trends.

- Foresee potential issues and address them proactively.

- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.

Strategic Thinking and Implementation:

- Develop and implement strategies to improve process efficiency and effectiveness.

- Provide overall direction, guidance, and definition of business architecture to effectively support business strategy.

- Focus on process metrics and KPIs, with a view to continuously improving them.

- Utilize process mining tools and techniques to identify areas for improvement.

Key Requisite Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Management, Commerce, Information Systems, or a related field.

- Strong experience in business process reengineering or process improvement roles.

- Proficiency in process mapping tools and methodologies (e.g., BPMN, Lean, Six Sigma).

- Knowledge in Asset / Wealth Management

- Knowledge of Process Mining tools like Celonis, Signavio etc are desirable.

- Prior experience in RPA and other modes of automation could be an added advantage.

- Experience in the asset management or financial services industry is preferred, but not mandatory.

- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and implement innovative solutions.

- Strong focus on process metrics, KPIs, and continuous improvement.

- Strong leadership and project management skills.

- Excellent communication and client management abilities.
