UST - Group Manager - Accounting & Compliance

Overview: Manage accounting and financial control functions and provide strategic direction in sustaining long-term growth and profit for the business.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive UST's financial strategy and planning towards profitability and long-term success.

- Responsible for assessing possible risks and investments; appropriately actioning the financial performance of the company.

- Responsible for all finance and accounting activities / functions in terms of professional code of ethics and integrity as per national/international - accounting standards statutory regulations and legislation.

- Develop the corporate fundraising strategy and manage relationships with partners and investors.

- Discussion with project managers/M&A team for understanding various terms of agreement and coming into right accounting treatment.

- Lead all financial reporting on a regular basis (operational and corporate).

- Lead annual operating plan with follow-on updates and forecasts.

- Lead improvements in operational efficiencies and quality standards.

- Responsible for statutory compliance and filings.

- Financial planning of the company by analysing its' performance and risks.

- Constant awareness of the company's financial position and act to prevent problems.

- Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a quarterly and annual basis.

- Conduct analysis to generate forecasts and reports.
