Job Description:  The primary focus of a Territory Engagement Manager (TEM) is to sell solutions and services to existing Tableau/USEReady customers and to prospect for new customers in the assigned territory or vertical.  Responsibilities:  - As a TEM, you will sell products and services to an assigned geographic or national; North America primarily, account base territory to achieve assigned objectives  - Generate sales Opportunities on line or by phone. Utilize inbound and/or outbound calls to pursue Qualified Sales Opportunities  - Develop account penetration strategies, and develops highly qualified Opportunities to be closed by the field team. May need to travel abroad (US) for high stake sales negotiations with customers in person  - Identify new business opportunities by creating and implementing territory campaigns with management/marketing assistance. Responsible for understanding Tableau product offerings and other aspects of self-service BI  - Liaise with customer contacts for the purpose of managing the customer relationship, identifying new opportunities, and selling USEReady products and services  - Participate as a team member on sales teams including field sales, sales consulting and delivery. Will be measured on the number of qualified Sales Opportunities the TEM generates for the field sales team  - Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. Work under general supervision and ability to work independently  - Seek intervention from his/her manager on complex deals that fall outside of existing guidelines  - Ability to communicate effectively over the telephone with high-level decision makers
