The Trade Lane Manager is responsible for ensuring that overall business on a particular trade lane increases YoY and in line with organizations Goals.


One must drive sales as an individual sales contributor and achieve profit targets.


The sales professional also must support and motivate other sales colleague to sell more on a particular Trade Lane.


He quotes the customers and helps his sales colleague to quote to their customers.


He builds good rapport with clients, carrier & overseas colleagues to facilitate trade development.


The professional serves as the main sales contact point of prospects and the Sales account owner for customers assigned in their region.


One must also find and developed qualified leads, then convert them through the sales process into prospect and customers.


The sales professional is a highly motivated individual with a strong import/ Export skill set, capable of developing compelling value propositions that foster strong relationships, along with the current accounts will be the major role of this position, at the same time maintaining the account profitability and high level of Customer Services.


Taking into consideration the international nature of ATA's business. The person has to work closely with other regions.
