- Ensuring efficiency in the loan processing and disbursement workflow for U.S. and Canada loans
- Analyzing data periodically and using insights to drive and coordinate initiatives aimed at improving our loan conversion volume and enabling scale
- Building effective relationships by creating structures that will allow the team to connect with universities, vendors and borrowers on a recurring basis and serving as an escalation point for borrower and school issues
- Conducting periodic audits to identify inconsistencies in data and resolve them in a timely manner
- Proactively identifying and troubleshooting technical gaps in loan processing by tracking and analyzing loan data and closely partnering with the engineering team for swift resolution
- Collaborating with MPOWERs global finance, customer success, and marketing teams to troubleshoot and optimize certification, disbursement, and loan transfer processes
THE QUALIFICATIONS
- Undergraduate degree or higher preferred
- 5+ years of experience managing teams in financial operations
- Understanding of banking, lending, financial services or personal finance with the ability to learn and adapt quickly
- Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge is preferred
- Proven ability to apply critical thinking to complicated problems for timely and effective resolution, with an ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, excellent at documentation
