US GAAP Specialist - Contractual

We are seeking a skilled and experienced US GAAP Specialist for a contractual position based in Ghaziabad. The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of experience in US GAAP accounting and financial reporting. This role involves ensuring compliance with US GAAP standards, preparing financial statements, and supporting various accounting functions. The position is hybrid, allowing flexibility to work both remotely and on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

- US GAAP Compliance: Ensure adherence to US GAAP standards in financial reporting and accounting practices.

- Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and disclosures in compliance with US GAAP.

- Accounting Support: Provide support for accounting functions, including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial analysis.

- Audit Preparation: Assist in the preparation and coordination of internal and external audits, ensuring all documentation and processes are in compliance.

- Regulatory Updates: Stay updated on changes in US GAAP regulations and standards, implementing necessary updates to accounting practices.

- Documentation: Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of accounting procedures, transactions, and financial reports.

- Collaboration: Work closely with finance and accounting teams to address any issues related to US GAAP compliance and financial reporting.

- Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve discrepancies or issues in financial reporting and accounting processes.

Requirements:

- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in US GAAP accounting and financial reporting.

- Skills: Strong knowledge of US GAAP standards, financial reporting, and accounting principles.

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and tools, with strong Excel skills.

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA) are a plus.
