US Accounting Manager - CA/CPA

Job description:

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager with minimum 8 years of accounting experience and hands-on expertise in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

Timing: US Shift (5 days working under Hybrid Model)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and payroll records.

2. Financial Reporting: Prepare timely and accurate financial statements such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other reports. Ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulations.

3. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting. Monitor budget performance, analyze variances, and recommend improvements to enhance financial performance.

4. Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making. Identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth. Develop financial models and forecasts to aid in business planning.

5. Internal Controls: Implement and maintain effective internal controls to protect company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial information. Identify areas for improvement and enhance control procedures.

6. Financial Systems and Tools: Utilize accounting software and financial tools to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and ensure data accuracy. Provide training and support to team members on financial systems.

7. Compliance and Regulations: Stay informed about accounting principles, regulations, and industry best practices. Ensure compliance with relevant financial reporting standards, including GAAP or IFRS.

8. Team Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and senior management, to provide financial insights and support.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CA certification preferred.

- 5-7 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on financial reporting, analysis, and budgeting.

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and financial standards.

- Proficiency in SAP for managing financial data and generating reports.

- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial information and provide strategic insights.

- Attention to detail and high accuracy in financial recordkeeping and reporting.

- Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
