URGENT

- Looking for National (Indian) Urban Planning Experts with Masters in social science /Masters in Transportation Planning/ Transportation Engineering/Civil Engineering/ Economics/ Highway Engineering/ Highway Planning with minimum 5years of Work Experience in various projects.

Qualification:

- Masters in Urban Planning/Masters in social science/Masters in Transportation Planning/ Transportation Engineering/ Highway Engineering/ Highway Planning. AND Bachelors/Masters in Urban Planning OR Masters in social science OR Masters Degree in Transportation Planning/ Transportation Engineering/ Highway Engineering/ Highway Planning

Expertise Required:

- Fluent in English;Sound knowledge of urban development issues and Project experience in the region (proposed for) will be an advantage; Sector experience of more than 8 yrs and experience of project management of similar projects of at least 3 years.

- 5 years experience in municipal urban planning. Good understanding of spatial planning and experience in data collation and analysis; Fluent in English and good communication skills in vernacular language for the city proposed and Project experience in the region (proposed for) will be an advantage.

OR

- She/he should have at least 8 years of experience in urban poor development programs and developing poverty reduction strategies, and conducted skill training with urban poor. Having working knowledge of micro-credit facility with city poor will be an additional qualification. Fluent in English and good communication skills in vernacular language for the city proposed and project experience in the region (proposed for)

OR

- 2 years of professional experience on projects in conducting/ co-coordinating and analysing road traffic data, traffic estimation & modeling, planning and improvement of road intersections, traffic management plans, public transportation planning, transport oriented development, regional transportation planning, MRTS, planning for utilities at transportation corridors/ nodes/ hubs or other related areas.
