Role :
Urban Ladder has distinguished itself based on design and impeccable service delivery experience and the vision is to extend this excellence in the retail space. As a Sr. Associate - L&D, you will be primarily responsible for training of all our Store's staff in Mumbai to start with and to ensure the continuance of the UL Brand experience at the store.
The position report to the L&D head and the role would include driving different learning and development initiatives across stores, working out of our stores and supporting store manager to achieve their numbers by training, coaching, mentoring and motivating store team. You- re also expected to initiate audits and assess people and process as guided.
What is expected from this role:
Energetic retail store trainer, who can learn from his team and train them on values, sales, behavioral, product, and process skills.
Overall expectations include enhancing employees- skills, performance, productivity and quality of work.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and assess future and current training needs through job analysis, staff audits, regular assessments, and consultation with functional managers
- Conduct effective induction and orientation sessions for our retail team
- Conduct effective training programs on product and process knowledge sessions
- Advise sales people how to upsell products in the store
- Organize role-playing activities to simulate difficult client cases (e.g. how to overcome objections)
- Apply various sales training techniques (e.g. gamification, case studies and group activities)
- Act as a consultant to sales people for challenges they have on the job
- Deploy a wide variety of training methods
- Monitor and evaluate training program's effectiveness, success, and ROI periodically and report on them
- Resolve any specific problems and tailor training programs as necessary
- Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments, and best practices
- Coordinating with both internal and external stakeholders.
