Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement sales strategies to enhance sales, customer experience and profitability in multiple stores
- Support rapid expansion of the retail footprint through involvement in recruitment, training & establishing strong operations
- Support the omnichannel retail operations through a thorough understanding of our business model and a strong ability to understand & derive benefit from the interplay of online and offline channels
Business Planning
- Establish a system for regular reviews with Store Managers on performance and establish a strong diagnostic platform to help to figure out the areas of development & actionable
- Marketing, VM, HR, Training aspects to be covered in each review
- Identify, propose and coordinate execution of seasonal and location-specific promotions
- Ensure success of central promotions and establish strong dashboards to track their performance
Budget and expense control
- Prepare and control the operational expenses. Innovate on solutions using technology, training & better planning to bring down the costs
Store Operations standards and management
- Work closely with the planning team to ensure display of a strong catalog
- Play an active role in merchandising planning by passing on feedback regarding products and local preferences
- Have a clear understanding of SOPs, contribute to improving SOPs and ensuring store level adherence
- Ensure all statutory compliances are adhered to at the stores
Customer service
- Build a strong culture of customer orientation within every team. Work with the store planning team to help script a great customer experience in store. Focus on cutting edge training to ensure every team member lives up to the organization's philosophy around customer orientation
People management
- Provide strong support on store staff's personal development to help them deliver on the organization's objectives and help them move forward on their career paths
- Champion customer orientation and the organization's values
- Ensure execution of training, incentive plans, and R&R activities Professional Skills & Qualifications
- Passion for retail.
- 3+ years- experience in retail.
- Strong understanding of retail plans and processes.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint
- High levels of problem-solving, data orientation and self-motivation
- Master's Degree required.
