Urban Company - General Manager - Product Business Operations

About the Role & Team :

The General Manager for the Product Business Operations team will work on consumer needs and enhance customer experience through product development for service partners.

What You'll Do :

- Own P&L of home and salon products business

- Responsible for margins, growth, and customer experience of all products in the Homes and salon category

- The role includes - Vendor identification, Product development, Tooling development, Margins finalization and Negotiation and overall owning the P&L and growth of Homes and Salon product businesses.

- Grow the marketplace while optimizing multiple opposing factors like service availability and supply utilization; scale product growth while improving operational excellence and quality of product.

- Build, coach, and lead a high-performance team across product development,vendor management teams.

- Collaborate across multiple central teams including functional specialists and business category teams to ensure coherence.

- In a nutshell, the General Manager is expected to completely own and drive the product development, the team and make all decisions for the specific category.

The right individual should have a combination of sharp analytical decision making, sound business judgment, robust result-driven execution, and creative iterative business building.

What we Need :

- 4-6 years of experience in a high growth operations-based startup, FMCG or other consumer companies, or consulting

- High sense of ownership and a penchant for excellence

- Prior experience in operations or category management a bonus
