C] Why are we hiring?
- We want to significantly enhance our Learning Journey as we believe better learning would lead to better outcomes (job placements) for our paid users.
- Our in-house experts on Product Management are not experts in designing, developing, and delivering instructional products and experiences, toward an efficient, effective, appealing, engaging, and inspiring acquisition of knowledge.
- We believe an Instructional Designer with solid foundations will be a strong value addition to the team.
D] Who are we looking for?
- This being our first hire in the curriculum/instructional design space, we want someone who's a generalist - someone who can comfortably work in many different situations, someone who can lead initiatives, and someone who's a go-getter.
Our ideal candidate would be someone who has checked most of these boxes:
- Solid understanding of ADDIE, LOs, Action Mapping, Mayer's Principles, Bloom's Taxonomy, Kirkpatrick model & other industry best practices
- Experience working with LMS & relaying problems to engineers
- Experience building coursework not restricted to K12 scenarios
- Has built at least 1 coursework from scratch & taken it live
- Worked in early-stage EdTech startups previously
- Willing to go above and beyond to get the job done
- Not be restricted to the JD. Can create sense from chaos
- Good at documentation & building new processes
- Has built, tested, released & updated courses
- A curious individual who has taken up & completed several courses in various fields
- Of course, we understand checking all those boxes is impossible. Willingness to learn, do & perform trumps everything else.
Educational Qualifications:
Minimum: Bachelors in Any Field
Most Preferred B.Ed or NET Holders
