Upekkha is a - B2B SaaS startup- Accelerator & Early stage fund- that helps founders craft a - Value SaaS- business. Value SaaS is different from Vanity SaaS; it is building a subscription business with fast growth in a capital-efficient way with the founder in full control. Thereafter, founders chart a path of - pull-based- growth- through institutional venture capital investment, strategic M&A or organic hyper-scale. In this way a founder is in control of her destiny.

With the help of our global network of our 150+ SaaS founders, 7 cohorts of startups have built their Value SaaS flywheel to build the SaaS business of their choice. We believe that giving away optionality, choice and freedom as the price for growth does not bode well for founders.

- The Role:- as Head of HR you will be responsible for the management of human resources policies, programs, protocols, and procedures for Upekkha.

- JD for Head of HR-

- Develop plans and policies for matters such as employee compensation, benefits, performance management, health & safety for the organisation.

- Hiring- Designing a hiring process to attract the right talent for a forever remote organisation.

- Training needs analysis- Design and execute a complete training and development framework and identify the gaps in internal training from time to time.

- Be an anchor for our startups who are looking to put together their first HR processes.

- Provide HR advice and counsel to our Partners on HR issues and implementations.

- Build our employer branding on Glassdoor, LinkedIn etc.

- Doing salary benchmarking study for our internal and founder facing verticals.

- Ensure compliance with all the legal aspects applicable.

- Ensure compliance with all internal policies and standards.

- Ensure grievance redressal and invoke disciplinary actions when required.

- Analyse data and reports for the Partners and our Team Leads, using HR Metrics.

- Participate in executive, management, and company staff meetings and attend other meetings and seminars( internal and Founder

- Strategise programs and policies to enhance employee growth and satisfaction.

- Building a transparent and healthy culture for the organisation.

Requirement :

- Master's Degree in Human Resources or its equivalent

- Minimum 12-15 years relevant experience.

- Can also be an entrepreneur who wants to lead the HR function and has done leadership role earlier.

- Sound knowledge of human resources and labour law

- Exceptional communication and leadership skills.

- Additional understanding and knowledge of human behavior will be appreciated.

- Demonstrated ability to establish key relationships with our Partners, Team Leads and Founders.

- Experience with interfacing with diverse audiences.

- Ability to work in a remote setup.

- Have great judgement and experience in handling inter-personal tensions and conflicts

- Display a sense of responsibility and empathy while reaching out to our Team members.

- Are self motivated, detail oriented and process driven

- Are structured but not bureaucratic; you challenge status-quo and are constantly seeking a better way of doing things.

- Are adaptable and enjoy working in a constantly evolving environment, under pressure and comfortable with ambiguity and change.

- Have great communication skills - both oral and written
