JOB SUMMARY:
UPL is looking for a highly capable, knowledgeable and driven Total Rewards Specialist to support the Total Rewards Lead in various initiatives and programs as it relates to all total rewards related matters.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate Total Rewards processes in relation to local markets.
- Conduct job evaluations, maintain job description, participate in market surveys, collate & analyse market data, and maintain compensation survey data.
- Develop total rewards communication materials/information kits for the total rewards programs & activities.
- Administer all rewards activities, ie. compensation review cycles, variable/bonus cycles, project compensation, off-cycle promotions, etc.
- All items related to benefits including administration of benefits programs.
- Manage significant enhancements to Total Rewards systems, tools and processes, designing processes, procedures, systems requirements, reports, policies and other enabling tools necessary to effectively operationalize global processes.
- Serve as subject matter expert, applying comprehensive knowledge of one or more HR processes and associated tools and maintain expert knowledge by researching best practices, monitoring legal developments, evaluating emerging trends, keeping appraised of technological advancements, and conducting benchmark comparisons.
- Accountable for the operational management, implementation, and continuous operation of Global Compensation programs & projects.
- Act as a day-to-day compensation interface for HR and leadership/employees in assigned areas.
- Responsible for effective service delivery of Compensation activities.
- Provide support to Total Rewards Lead in various programs and initiatives in the total rewards area.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- 1 to 2 years' experience in managing compensation and benefits programs
- Postgraduate degree in Business Administration; Certification in Compensation, Benefits programs preferred
- Strong, proven analytical skills
- Excellent MS Office skills (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)
- Excellent Communication and Negotiation skills
- Strong Time Management skills; Must be a self-starter
- Ability to work across time zones and effectively communicate with stakeholders across different geographies
- Ability to work under pressure and tough deadlines
- Must be a strong team player
