Lead Strategic Planning & Logistics Commercial  - Strategize, plan and manage the entire India marketing logistics & sales planning by any mode of transport including inward and outward logistics, inventory management, order processing across all businesses for entire India geography.   - Ensure integration & standardization of warehouse & CFA management systems, availability of freight providers and freight capacity by multi-modal transport as per regulatory requirements and T&C is available for the organization to bring regular as well as new products to the market as per required timelines.   - To maintain the integrity of Vendors/ CFAs/Warehouse operations as per product requirements.   - To ensure that the order fulfillment process is executed through correct capturing of demand and sales forecasting.   - To ensure common processes for order fulfillment so that demand/orders are processed in the systems, invoiced and dispatched on time.   - Drive initiatives related to operations excellence, continuous improvement in process of sales & demand planning, material dispatch & receipt;   - Define control processes for monitoring eg adherence to schedule, removal of stock out situation etc;   - Play a change agent for all new change initiatives.   - Assess requirements for new equipment or any other resources to meet future demand; Review sales planning (forecast v/s actual), freight capacity & capacity of carriers,   - Coordination with Manufacturing supply chain team for sales planning v/s inventory reconciliation. Providing insights to prepare concept notes related to Logistics processes  1 Strategic Sales Planning & Forecasting   Provide inputs for annual budgeting process; Revisit buffers requirements and settings regularly; Get inputs from marketing team to capture expected variations in sales & demand, Discuss, and validate marketing team's prediction by analysing trend patterns; Negotiate with sales & marketing team to arrive at final inventory figures for different regions in order to ensure that logistics team is ready to handle any variations in demand in future.Assess requirements for new equipment or any other resources to meet future sales requirements   2 Sales Operations Integration   To ensure defined integration & implementation of processes for inward & outward logistics, warehouse operations across India business, CFA's & depots. Order processing for all SKU's across India geography. In order to ensure that the Order fulfillment process is executed through correct capturing of sales forecast & demand.  3 Inventory Planning & Warehouse Management   Inventory planning - Safety stock, ROP-ROQ optimization, demand and supply risk estimation, supply lead time reduction.  To ensure the material is transported as per the required handling. Participate in final negotiation with CFA's and vendor along with Mfg& Supply chain representative in order to ensure that timely availability of right quantity and smooth running of Sales Operations in India  4 Operations Excellence & Project support   Capture market trends and analyze their impact on sales; Drive initiatives related to operations excellence, continuous improvement in process of sales planning  Play a change agent role for all new change initiatives in order to ensure sales logistics operations and efficiency"   5 Audit & Compliance   Create checklist for any time audit readiness for all audits related to CFA's, Depots and Warehouses or any other external or internal audits; in order to ensure that all procedures and norms are complied by parties and audit points are closed within prescribed timelines"   6 Stakeholder Management   Meet CFAs, distributor, carriers frequently to resolve any issues or escalations; Review performance of various transporters and agents and initiate corrective and preventive action;   Interact with regulatory bodies and participate in Association meetings in order to ensure that claims and recovery is completed in time and cordial relationships are maintained with all stakeholders   7 People Management   Conduct goal setting, performance appraisals and mentoring/ coaching for team members; collaborate with HR in manpower planning, recruitment activities and talent development efforts; provide training to team members on new processes when required in order to maximize retention and performance of team members  Education: B.Tech + MBA (Tech/ Operations colleges such as NITIE, Mumbai)   Knowledge :  - Sound understanding of Sales forecasting strategic planning  - Strong connect with supply chain management & logistics process  - Inventory Management & Warehouse Management  - Computer & IT Enable business processes  Behavioural Skills :  - Effective Communication  Analytical skills :  - Leadership   - Collaboration skills   - Negotiation skills   - Team building and Team management  - Influencing   - Inter-personal skills   - Business acumen  - Leveraging relationships  - Assertiveness
