Job Role:

As a Senior Manager, Sales, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of UpGrad's admissions team. You will be responsible for leading a high-performing team of admission counsellors, developing and implementing effective sales strategies, and ensuring a seamless customer experience.

This role offers a great opportunity to build a strong foundation in sales and marketing, working with a dynamic team and contributing to the growth of a leading EdTech company.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

- Manage high-performing team of admission counsellors.

- Set clear performance expectations, track key metrics, and conduct regular performance reviews.

- Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and training to enhance team skills and knowledge.

- Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team culture.

Sales Strategy:

- Develop and implement effective sales strategies aligned with overall business objectives.

- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to identify opportunities and challenges.

- Continuously optimize the sales process to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

- Collaborate with marketing, product, and other teams to align sales efforts and ensure a seamless customer journey.

- Work closely with the marketing team to leverage different channels and generate quality leads for the team

Performance Management:

- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as revenue, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction.

- Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

- Design and implement effective incentive programs to motivate the sales team.


Customer Focus:

- Ensure a seamless and positive customer experience throughout the admissions process.

- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.

- Build strong relationships with potential students and partners.

Qualifications and Experience:

- 1-5 years of experience in a sales leadership role.

- Proven track record of performance in sales in any sector.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making abilities.

- Proficiency in sales and CRM tools

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
