The person would be responsible for :-
Academic Advising:
1. Provide personalized academic advising and guidance to DBA students on specialization selection, other program requirements, dissertation topic selection, methodologies to deploy, writing and academic success strategies.
2. Assist students in developing personalized academic plans that align with their career goals
3. Take a data driven approach towards monitoring student progress, conduct 1:1 & group counselling and identify any academic challenges.
4. Connect students with appropriate resources and support services to ensure their success.
5. Address and resolve academic queries and concerns raised by students or faculty members promptly and effectively, 1:1 Calls, via email or through the discussion board.
6. Qualified in teaching Smart PLS, R Commander & other research and analysis tools necessary in a student's program journey
Content Management:
1. Oversee and manage content related to the DBA program, ensuring it is up-to-date, accurate, and aligned with curriculum requirements.
2. Develop and manage learning materials such as syllabi, assignments, and rubrics.
3. Conduct quality check for assignments, projects and live sessions. Sample feedback provided by graders.
Curriculum and Instruction:
1. Provide expert consultation on curriculum development and instructional design to ensure the program's continued relevance and effectiveness.
Live Sessions:
1. Check live session qualities based on multiple quality parameters.
2. Conduct engaging live sessions, workshops, and lectures on research methodologies, quantitative and qualitative research, and other relevant topics.
Collaboration:
1. Work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth and successful learning experience for students.
2. Stay informed about current trends and best practices in online education.
Experience Requirements:
1. PhD/DBA degree in a relevant field
2. Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in academia, preferably in a similar role.
3. Demonstrated experience in guiding M.Phil/PhD dissertations and conducting workshops/lectures on research methodologies.
4. Expertise in both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies with a strong understanding of research design, data analysis, and academic writing.
5. Expertise in research tools like R Commander, Smart PLS
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students from diverse backgrounds.
7. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a high degree of attention to detail.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
9. Proficiency in using online learning platforms and educational technology tools.
Education and Certification:
1. PhD/DBA
2. Additional certifications or training in instructional design, academic advising, or related areas would be advantageous.
Skills:
- Strong research skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
- Familiarity with curriculum development and instructional design principles.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
