Job Description :

- Technical Architect is responsible for overall architecture and design of the application and mapping client business requirements to systems/technical requirements, define architecture roadmap, strategy to ensure technology solutions meet our business partner needs, provide consultancy in migrating the application to Cloud, identify business opportunities and assist in enablement capability in-house.

- Architect needs to work along with Application Owner, Release Owners, Engagement Manager, Engineering Manager and supporting team members (on/off) for successful implementation of mission-critical healthcare IT solutions for business

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Serve as a trusted and experienced advisor to leadership on the design of complex systems, projects, emerging technology landscape and adoption of industry best practices

- Provide technical direction, participate in design/code review,provide direction to development team and participate in building software frameworks and tools to streamline development activities

- Actively participate to the definition and enhancement of standards, procedures and practices

- Facilitates outcome-based strategic planning and architecture conversations across a diverse set of business and technical participants.

- Identifies high-value strategy and architecture opportunities and leads a small team of enterprise architects to achieve them.

- Provides thought-leadership on key topics like innovation and IT capability road mapping

- Collaborate with, and provide subject matter expertise to, business and operational partners during requirements elicitation

- Provides subject matter expertise in the evaluation of proposed technical solutions and architectures for alignment with the current architecture, evaluating technical usefulness as a migration approach to target architecture and technical soundness to support the program or Department investment decisions

- Responsible for providing the architecture and governance that drives business process improvement and aligns investment decisions and program efforts with the Department missions and strategic goals

- Review business and operational requirements to ensure that the request is complete, and expectations are clearly defined

- Detail and document highly complex functional designs, and data structures, to support business and operational requirements

- Collaborate with, and provide subject matter expertise to, application development partners during the development of solutions

- Support the creation and maintenance of system reference architectures, standards, and technology road-maps

- Provide feedback and recommendations on external technology solutions and tools

- Participate in vendor due-diligence as necessary

- Participate in client technology discussions as necessary

Knowledge & Experience :

- Proficiency in English language

12+ years of Information Technology experience is required with a combination of experience in the following technical disciplines :

- Exposure on Cloud Application development- (full development cycle) and Migration to Cloud Platform

- Working experience on OpenShift/ Azure etc. (PaaS platform)

- Experience in Object oriented design Patterns, C#, Migration, UML,.Net

- Experience in areas - Entity Framework, WCF, TPL, Multi-threading, Cloud concepts

- Extensive Experience with Azure cloud solutions including experience with Azure Service Fabric, Azure SQL, API Apps, Data Factory, Cache, Event/Hubs, Web/Worker roles, Services, MSSQL, Azure Storage, Service Bus, Power Shell and Web App Service highly preferred

- Proven experience with documenting current and proposed environments including Visio Diagrams, As-Built documents, Recommendations for solutions, Run books.

- Excellent communication and problem solving skills to make recommendations to clients

- Ability to lead and mentor teams. Experience in SQL, Python, JSON, SCSM and SCORCH a plus.

- Proven experience applying Application integration or services oriented architecture design patterns.

- Experience on Cloud Migration, Continuous Integration and Delivery, DevOps implementation

- Infrastructure design and implementation (network, server or storage),

- Experience on Java/J2ee platform and applications on Java, J2EE,- Hibernate, and other relevant technology.

- Good knowledge in SPRING, IOC, AOP and Transaction Management

- Proficiency in working with standard Microsoft .Net Technologies - .NET 4.5, MVC, and WCF to create applications that operate in a multi-threaded environment and architecture capable of running in a distributed application environment

- Experience in Web services- Restful and Soap

- Database design and implementation,

- BI / Analytics or Enterprise data management,

- Systems integration or middleware solution design,

- Implementation or administration (application server, message broker, service bus) or Business process analysis, engineering and automation.

- 3+ years of experience in a Client facing / Executive business consulting role

- 2+ years of experience as solution or enterprise architect with a proven track record of implementing innovative strategies / solutions.

- Strong ability to work collaboratively across diverse groups of business and technical stakeholders is required.

- Exceptional ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical people.
