Engagement Overview :
- Pega Practice is part of GSD BPM horizontal working with multiple ASGs and business segments. EAS (Enterprise Adjudication Service) project team is responsible for developing claims adjudication solutions.
- EAS is the Claims Processing Engine developed in Pega-PRPC for auto-adjudicating the claims which were sent to manual processing by the legacy systems.
- Team is looking for Technical Architect this role requires extensive stakeholder interaction and Pega-PRPC technical solution capabilities to assist IT and business teams in a consultative manner.
Job Responsibilities :
- Be able to manage a team of 10+ people and work with Architects, IT Owners, Business Analysts and business owners directly
- Provide direction to the team on achieving business and IT goals
- Be accountable for technical solutions and quality of the software solutions delivered from offshore
- Lead and drive design, architecture related enhancements to meet current and future business needs
- Deliver on project, practice level initiatives – CMMMi, Continuous Improvement
- Build and lead business and functional domain capabilities of application system and integrating systems and applications
- Provide appropriate status updates and manage project risks
- Mentor and support team members on day to day assignments and technical and functional aspects of application
- Mentor, onboard, and help retain new and existing team members

Qualification - Essential Skills :
- Minimum 10 years of experience in software development in Pega-PRPC with at least 3 year in the role of Pega technical architect
- Should have extensive experience in working on Pega projects using Scrum & Smart BPM methodologies.
- Experience on at least one complete medium to large scale enterprise Pega-PRPC project involving integrations with other enterprise systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good experience in Estimation, Risk Assessment, Quality and Knowledge Management
- Very good knowledge of good software engineering practices
- Good understanding of Pega HCIF
- Good understanding of US healthcare
Desired Skills :
- Understanding of healthcare claims processing
- Understanding of how BPM solutions can be delivered using Cloud
- UHG enterprise application landscape understanding
- Understanding of claim adjudication processes
Eligibility Criteria :
- Minimum 18 months in the current role
- Not on Active CAP at the time of applying for the IJP
- Employees currently at Grade 28 (Project Manager/Technical Architect) can apply for this position
- Employees must notify their Current Manager before applying for the IJP
- Last Common Review rating should be Meeting Expectations or Exceeding Expectations
