Job Description - Role Overview :

Manager Transport services will lead the transport service function within Real Estate services team (RES) Gurgaon location. This will include Employee transport operations and transport security services for more than 7,000 employees.

Brief Job Description :

- Reporting to transport/facilities head, role is responsible for the management of transport services for Gurgaon location in line with Corporate Real Estate strategy & policies.

- Will work in partnership with transport team, stakeholders, balancing the strategic intent with operational compliance and effectiveness in the most commercially beneficial way for OGS.

Qualification : Technical Skills :

- Key competence includes Transport operations, Transport system Automation and optimization, Transport Vendor Management, Staff appraisals,Safety compliance, Strategy and planning, Vehicle maintenance,Route planning, People management and cost optimization.

- Plan, organize and manage the work of subordinate staff to ensure that the work is accomplished in a manner consistent with organizational requirements.

- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, cost management,, leadership and coordination of people and resources

- Ability to identify complex problems and analyze/review the related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.

- Self-motivated. Ability to define, structure and prioritize work for self and others.

- Good Knowledge of MS office/Excel

- Having transport services automation software Knowledge and experience will be an essential requirement.

Process Specific Skills :

- Lead the Transport service function for the designated site in accordance to the CRE guidelines.

- Driving Employee Transportation for more than 7000 employees of Gurgaon location

- Making sure the transport operation meets its performance and safety targets, monitoring it and reporting to senior management

- Monitor operations to ensure that staff members/service providers comply with administrative policies and procedures, safety rules and government regulations

- Analyze expenditures and other financial information in order to develop plans to keep cost within budgeted limits, recommend effective cost control measures.

- Efficiently managing the Transport vendor/driver team and fleet

- Resolving and managing escalations, employee queries and complaints courteously and efficiently.

- Appraising staff performance and also taking disciplinary measures when required.

- Able to operate effectively in a high volume service driven transport operation.

- Possessing a good understanding of all relevant legal/government compliance.

- Take initiative to achieve operational efficiencies and optimize costSoft skills

- Able to manage cross functional relationships at different levels.

- Excellent management skills.

Education Requirements : Graduates /UG with B.Com/B.A/B.Tech with relevant Experience ranging from 7 to 10 years in Transport Management in related work environment in a mid to large I.T/ITES company.
