Background: We are urgently looking to hire a Corporate Communications Manager to support our corporate communications and brand building strategies, and support with the implementation of brand and marketing campaigns. This role calls for exceptional interpersonal communication skills, the ability to write content, manage stakeholders, collaborative with cross functional teams, and be accountable for external communication campaigns.
Job Description:
- Define target audience and develop marketing campaigns and messaging that position Optum as a digital health tech company in India
- Develop and execute the organization's overall corporate communications charter, aligned with brand, and marketing strategies and campaigns; work closely with cross functional teams to ensure the alignment of internal and external messaging
- Establish strong stakeholder relationships, and work with key business stakeholders and team members to create an always on thought leadership campaign, manage executive positioning, and drive employer branding initiatives
- Establish a regular cadence of relevant, easily accessible content to be amplified through various communication channels. This includes collateral design and content creation for brochures, presentations, one-pagers, newsletters, press-releases, and drafting thought leadership articles, etc.
- Identify and engage with traditional media outlets, new age platforms, and external engagement channels; expected to have strong media relations (across technology, healthcare, HR, and corporate media)
- Monitor communication plan milestone completion; identify process and operational roadblocks; own and work towards solution development and escalate critical decisions to relevant stakeholders to reach alignment. Measure, report and adjust communications activities based on outcomes.
- Own major end-to-end processes, activities, and events, take initiative, and use problem solving skills to think beyond the task to deliver targeted outcomes.
- Maintain partnerships with digital / PR agency and related vendors, and ensure delivery on defined scope of work
- Act as Subject Matter Expert for external communication by providing the best knowledge, proper external benchmarks, best practices, and innovative solutions to support the business
Skills:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in English, Communications, and/ or Marketing is highly preferred and 8-10 years of relevant experience, working for a B2B technology brand, and/ or healthcare technology space on a similar mandate
- Experience of working with traditional media outlets, new age platforms, and external engagement channels; expected to have strong media relations (across technology, healthcare, HR, and corporate media)
- Perfect knowledge of social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc.) and paid media landscape, including new/shifting platforms and solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in creative B2B tech content writing
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work independently and in a collaborative team setting, with external agencies and outside departments
- Strategic thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.
