Job Description/Position Overview :

- We are looking for smart, motivated people who are passionate about using information technology to improve the quality, safety and efficiency of the financial system with strong deductive reasoning and analytic skills.

This position will lead the UHC OGS Technology Cost Management team and possibly other UHC CIO offshore expansions.

- The selected individual will develop relationship across application teams, finance teams, business and IT service teams. The individual will be responsible for driving initiatives such as Cost Reduction, Reporting, and Data Visualization. The person will lead the UHC CIO in their innovation journey

Job Responsibilities :

- Provide thought leadership to the entire off-shore team and anticipate customer needs and proactively develop solutions to meet them

- Responsible for driving innovation for UHC CIO group

- Closely work with UHC CIO leadership on initiatives and provide weekly / monthly updates of the business solution performance and adoption

- The position will create and analyze large data sets of internal and external data and communicate the results across the organization in a way that informs and drives the organization to action

- Lead the review and attestation of infrastructure by the appropriate App & System engineers to determine if the environments are optimally sized

- Monitoring overall progress- of all projects and identify areas where improvement is required, initiating corrective action where necessary-

- Work closely with his / her manager and internal/external clients to understand the business problem and contribute towards approach design.

- Ability to handle complex projects in a multi-tasking environment, effectively prioritize ones time, manage expectations and deliverables. A self-starter, who proactively drives projects, looks for new and better ways of doing things, can lead and gain consensus. Shows drive, passion and a sense of ownership.

Qualification/Desired Profile :

- 8 - 10 years of experience in Consulting / Business Analyst profile in any consulting (preferably big 4) / IT MNC

- Advanced degree (B-Tech / M-Tech / MSc.) from Top-tier institute.

- Strong exposure to MS Excel (including VBA), MS PowerPoint & an analytical bent to slice-dice business data

- Good communication skills (both oral & written) in order to participate in project discussions internally within the team & with end customers

- Ability to make need-based travel specific to projects in short notice (including internationally)
