Job Description/Position Overview :

- We are looking for smart, motivated people who are passionate about using information technology to improve the quality, safety and efficiency of the financial system with strong deductive reasoning and analytic skills.

- The purpose of these positions is to support the optimization of application technology consumption through a structured attestation and review process.

- The team members will present application consumption information to application and business owners to drive consumption reductions

Job Responsibilities :

- UHC has 300+ distributed based applications with over $100K in annual application costs.

- This position will prepare presentation and drive the attestation process for the CIO office with application teams and system engineers.

- Individual will complete weekly status reporting and maintain project plans.

- SS&MO & SDSS team will be asked to verify and optimize their technology costs based on the following known opportunities:-

- Production v. Non-Production irregularities, Allocated v. Consumed - virtual RAM, Unused / Underused Capacity / Servers, Duplicate Environments, Storage capacity, and Heap Size

- Individual will document action items and follow-up of applications as required to achieve technology reduction opportunities. As part of the seeding team, the individual has to work with cross functional team to get the necessary data to build the requisite reports.

- Ensure smooth delivery of all projects undertaken and be personally responsible for day-to-day project communications

- These individuals will be responsible for analyzing large amounts of data to produce meaningful insight including Cost Optimization Reports for UHC Business Owners

- Work closely with his / her manager and internal/external clients to understand the business problem and contribute towards approach design.

Strong project management skills : Ability to handle complex projects in a multi-tasking environment, effectively prioritize ones time, manage expectations and deliverables. A self-starter, who proactively drives projects, looks for new and better ways of doing things, can lead and gain consensus. Shows drive, passion and a sense of ownership.

Qualification/Desired Profile :

- 6 - 8 years of experience in Consulting / Business Analyst profile in any consulting (preferably big 4) / IT MNC

- Advanced degree (B-Tech / M-Tech / MSc.) from Top-tier institute.

- Strong exposure to MS Excel (including VBA), MS PowerPoint & an analytical bent to slice-dice business data

- Good communication skills (both oral & written) in order to participate in project discussions internally within the team & with end customers

- Ability to make need-based travel specific to projects in short notice (including internationally)
