Primary Responsibilities :

- Develop, perform, and manage the analyses of business and financial metrics as well as performance measures

- Develop and maintain financial reports to clearly communicate actual results, forecasted performance, and variances to plan,forecast and budget

- Understand and incorporate industry specific metrics into reports to highlight relevant trends and support fact-based business decisions

- Develop, perform and manage all aspects of financial planning, budgeting and forecasting-Work closely with the business to develop, recommend and establish strategies, plans and processes to improve profitability and cost efficiencies

- Produce clear, well-formatted reports that communicate a clear, compelling message for their stakeholders Grade 26 depending on the experience and skill set

Qualification : Bachelor or Masters in Accounting, MBA (Finance), CA Inter, ICWA intermediate (India based qualifications which can be equivalent to Bachelor in Accounting in US).

Experience : 5 -10 years overall. 2-3 years experience in Financial Planning and analysis

List of activities :

- Financial Statement analysis mostly focusing on Expense analysis (SG&A), Forecasting, Budgeting, Accounting like month end accruals and re-class entries, presentation skills.

- Commentary (on variances and findings if any)Coordination and communication

- Should be able to communicate effectively thru mails and over phone with onshore team and few other internal teams. Communication with external vendor is not required

- Work Cycles - Account re-classes, 5 or 6 JEs a month vendor accruals (IBM vendor analysis), commentary (read out is not required at this point)

IT applications : PS, Essbase, US Shared drives.

Shift : 2.30 PM to 12.00 AM IST or 4 AM to 1.30 PM EST, should be flexible for night shift (6 AM to during month end close for 3 work days.

Notice period : Need overall 4 months for shortlisting and getting FTEs on-board

Qualification/Requirements :

- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent work experience 4+ years of financial and/or accounting experience

- Proficient in MS Excel and other MS Office products

Desired :MBA or CPA Hyperion Essbase, Planning and PeopleSoft Financials
