Primary Responsibilities :
- Develop, perform, and manage the analyses of business and financial metrics as well as performance measures
- Develop and maintain financial reports to clearly communicate actual results, forecasted performance, and variances to plan,forecast and budget
- Understand and incorporate industry specific metrics into reports to highlight relevant trends and support fact-based business decisions
- Develop, perform and manage all aspects of financial planning, budgeting and forecasting-Work closely with the business to develop, recommend and establish strategies, plans and processes to improve profitability and cost efficiencies
- Produce clear, well-formatted reports that communicate a clear, compelling message for their stakeholders
Purpose :
The primary role of the Financial Analyst is to :
- Provide analytic and reporting support for multiple programs under supervision of the Sr. Financial Consultant.
- Maintain accurate accounting records in cooperation with segment accounting for strategic OTIQ Capital programs.
- Assist in the development of program forecasts, budgets, and plans.
- Measure program's progress against established metrics.
- Complete standard variance analysis and research variance drivers.
- Lead Operating Work Sessions (OWS) meetings with program teams and segment finance.
- Provide capital committee support to program teams.
Responsibilities :
Monthly program accounting duties through oversight of CRAG Senior Financial Consultant- Use query tools to access program accounting data from PeopleSoft general ledger, accounts payable and fixed assets.
- Assist corporate finance with the GL program code assignment process.
- Understand and follow internal control policies and procedures relating to program actual expense tracking and reporting.
- Code program invoices for payment.
- Prepare adjusting, accrual and capital journal entries in accordance with GAAP and monthly segment close schedule; maintain detailed documentation to substantiate program account balances.
- Review time tracking data (hours, tasks, resource mix, rates) that supports monthly program expenditures.- Analyze and reconcile G/L accounts to time reporting systems, invoices, etc.
- Investigate G/L program expenses not included in the forecast and make corrections as necessary.
- Recommend program in-service date to segment to begin amortization; assist program team in closing out G/L and time tracking systems.Program financial reporting and analysis through oversight of CRAG Senior Financial Consultant
- Prepare monthly program financial reports/documentation with variance explanations.
- Lead monthly OWS (Operations Work Session); prepare agenda; schedule meetings.
- Take minutes at OWS meetings; document key program milestones, risks, financial variances and action items.
- Prepare SRS agendas and schedule meetings.
- Work with program team to complete program CPR (Capital Program Review) document in accordance with SRS (Stakeholder Review Session) & OTIQ Capital guidelines and deadlines; explain variances in terms of scope, schedule, and budget (5 On- s) between CPR and capital forecasts.
- Support team leader SRS presentation; take minutes; document key program milestones, risks, financial variances and action items.
- Prepare program CBA (Cost Benefit Analysis) to reflect forecast changes in total program net benefits and expenses. Explain changes in terms of scope, schedule and budget.
- Attend program team meetings to keep current on program execution, financial risk, etc.
- Measure program's benefits against established value metrics (KPMs).
- Organize financial information in a meaningful manner.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
- Follow established internal policies and procedures relating to program financial tracking and reporting.Assist program team & CRAG Senior Financial Consultant with program plans (annual budget, current year forecasts, 3 yr plan)
- Advise program team of OTIQ Capital policies and procedures for program planning (incremental, business and technology rates, inter-segment margins, managed services, etc.).
- Assist with preparation of annual budget and periodic forecasts (expenditures, net benefits).
- Maintain well organized documentation of key program plan assumptions, contracts, charters, benefit models, etc.
- Meet segment, corporate financial plan deadlines and submit program plans in formats required by segment finance and corporate (ECR report).
- Input and access program plans in corporate planning system (Hyperion).

Qualification - Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent work experience. 4+ years of financial and/or accounting experience
- Proficient in MS Excel and other MS Office products
- Desired : MBA or CPA Hyperion Essbase, Planning and PeopleSoft Financials
