Job Description/Position Overview :
- We are looking for smart, motivated people who are passionate about using information technology to improve the quality, safety and efficiency of the financial system with strong deductive reasoning and analytic skills.
- As an Individual contributor, this person would be responsible for generating reports from multiple in-house tools. He / She will be responsible for Business Reporting on financial Data (IT Chargeback) to find aberrancies in the consumption pattern at various level (such as at GL Level, OU level etc.), provide root cause analysis of major Swings and perform other Adhoc reporting.
- The person will exposed to various cross functional teams for day to day work. The individual will be responsible for his / her projects to be kept fully documented (objective, requirements, analysis plan, technical design, recommendations etc.) and communication of results in a timely and effective manner.
- The person should have hands-on experience in Data collection process i.e. the Ability to extract and analyze data, patterns, and related trends is needed, with the subsequent ability to synthesize the data into information consumable by senior business decision makers.
Job Responsibilities :
- The person will be responsible for extracting Financial Data (Application Chargeback) from multiple data sources by working with cross functional teams
- The person will be responsible for identifying root cause analysis of Swings for all major Applications (Critical Business Application & Vital Business Functions) used by UHC segments.
- Build monthly dashboards by pulling data from different data sources for Senior Management team.
- Swing Analysis Reports – RCA for all Business Critical Applications used by UHC
- GL and OU level Data analysis
- Other Adhoc Dashboard
- As part of the seeding team, the individual has to work with cross functional team to get the necessary data to build the requisite reports.
- Ensure smooth delivery of all projects undertaken and be personally responsible for day-to-day project communications
- These individuals will be responsible for analyzing large amounts of data to produce meaningful insight including Cost Optimization Reports for UHC Business Owners
- These individuals will be responsible for using Datameer tool to extract and generate reports
- These individuals will be responsible for identifying root cause analysis of variances for all major Applications used by UHC segments
- Build monthly dashboards by pulling data from different data sources for Senior Management team:.
- Variance Analysis Reports
- UHC Business Segment COO based Technology utilization reporting
- Other Ad Hoc Dashboards using Datameer toolset
- The position will build and maintain a Total Technology Cost of Ownership model for all UHC applications.-
- Work closely with his / her manager and internal/external clients to understand the business problem and contribute towards approach design.

- Ability to handle complex projects in a multi-tasking environment, effectively prioritize ones time, manage expectations and deliverables. A self-starter, who proactively drives projects, looks for new and better ways of doing things, can lead and gain consensus. Shows drive, passion and a sense of ownership.

Qualification/Desired Profile :
- 4 - 6- years of experience in Consulting / Business Analyst profile in any consulting (preferably big 4) / IT MNC
- Advanced degree (B-Tech / M-Tech / MSc.) from Top-tier institute.
- Strong exposure to MS Xcel (including VBA), MS PowerPoint & an analytical bent to slice-dice business data-
- Good communication skills (both oral & written) in order to participate in project discussions internally within the team & with end customers
- Ability to make need-based travel specific to projects in short notice (including internationally)
