- In this Sr. IT Architecture Analyst role, you will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, performing options analysis, ensuring quality/alignment of Designs, and you will demonstrate and apply knowledge of enterprise architecture and standards.
- You will also be responsible for the development, communication and implementation of the organization's technology architecture and the components required to support it and the integration of corporate and technical architectures and applications.
Primary responsibilities :
- You will assess and interpret customer needs and requirements
- You will be involved in solving moderately complex problems and/or conduct moderately complex analysis
- You will provide explanation and information to others on difficult issues

- You will maintain knowledge of current domains and strategic road maps
- You will identify/quantify scope and impact of business changes on systems
- You will incorporate software and system architecture into conceptual designs
- You will support applicable modeling efforts (e.g., data modeling, process modeling, hardware modeling, performance modeling)
- You will provide oversight of conceptual designs to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture governance (e.g., principles, policies, standards, future-state reference architectures)
- You will maintain awareness of current technology assets, and the applicability and capability of each
- You will be responsible for maintaining awareness of current business and industry issues/trends and incorporate into enterprise architecture designs as appropriate
Job Expectations :
- Architect solutions for key business initiatives ensuring alignment with future state analytics architecture vision
- Assess and cultivate long-term strategic goals for data warehousing in conjunction with data users, department managers, clients, and other key stakeholders.
- Engage constructively with project teams to support project objectives through the application of sound architectural principles
- Lead, Develop and validate that the proposed solution architecture supports the stated & implied business requirements of the project
- Collaborating with the customer's technical team to gather technical requirements such as performance, maintainability and scalability
- To be able to document use cases, solution and architecture approach.
- Managing the approval and acceptance process for the technical architecture, designs and implementation in cooperation with the client- Establishing quality processes to deliver a stable and reliable solution
- Coordinate with other technical staff to develop database architectures, coding standards, and quality assurance policies and procedures. - Plan and implement capacity and resource expansion to ensure data warehouse scalability
- Conduct research and make recommendations on data warehouse products, services, protocols, and standards in support of procurement and development efforts
- Review technical team deliverables for compliance with architecture standards and guidelines
- Evaluate, recommend, and select data warehouse components, including hardware, database management systems, ETL (Extract/Transform/Load) software, data mining tools, merge/purge, data duplication and metadata management tools.
- Work with end users to identify, create, and deliver reports according to requirements
- Perform cost estimates for overall data warehouse solution
- Adopt innovative architectural approaches to leverage in-house data integration capabilities consistent with architectural goals of the enterprise
- Create architectural designs for different stakeholders that provide a conceptual definition of the information processing needs for the delivery project
- To be able to clearly articulate pros and cons of various technologies and platforms and come up with recommendations.Common Requirements (for all architectural positions)
- 10 to 15 years of total experience
- B. Tech/M. Tech/MSc/MCA- 5+ years of Information Technology Architecture Analysis experience
- 5+ years of development including full life cycle activities
- 5+ years of Data Warehousing experience
- Experience working with Agile methodologies- Data Design Tool Stack
- Very good experience in Database servers (Oracle / DB2 /SQL Server) & Modeling Tools (ERwin/ IBM InfoSphere Data Architect/E-R Studio/PowerDesigner etc.)
- Data Integration Tool Stack
- Very good experience in ETL tools (Informatica /Datastage/ Oracle Data Integrator etc.)
- BI Analytics Tool Stack
- Very good experience in Reporting tools (Cognos/Business Objects /OBIEE/Pentaho etc.)
- Big Data Tool Stack
- Very good experience in Hadoop tools (HDFS, Map Reduce, PIG, HBASE, HIVE etc.)
- Specialization and hands-on in at least one of the above tool stack is a mustCommon Job Responsibilities (for all architectural positions)- Develop architectural approach to meet key business objectives
- Develop architectural diagrams to illustrate architectural complexities and interactions
- Work with business owners, analysts, solution engineers, development teams and infrastructure services to communicate application and data architectures
- Ensure project successfully implements the designed solution following architectural tenets
- Conduct vendor analysis and proof-of-concepts for new technologies/solutions
- Help assess the planning for retirement of products and migration plans for the functional evolution of the system infrastructure- Strong problem solver with ability to evaluate a challenge and understand solution patterns

Qualification/Required Qualifications :
- Undergraduate degree or a minimum of 5 years of IT experience
- 5+ years of Information Technology Architecture Analysis experience
- 5+ years of development experience including full life cycle activities
- Experience with Agile methodology
- Solid understanding of industry patterns for application architecture and integration
- 5+ years of experience building multi-tier applications using (applicable skill set such as Java, .NET, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications :
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)
