Primary Responsibilities :

Apply Cash :

- Apply incoming cash receipts and wire payment to appropriate clients (including general ledger coding)- Reconcile Cash - Balance cash received (bank deposits and/or treasury website) against cash applied (Accounting Tools).

- SOX Complete tie-out / match files for review by supervisor / manager.

- Cash Reporting - Maintain aggregate listing of cash applied, Pull reports and export into an Excel spreadsheet, utilizing pivot tables for these reports, Research customer payments and accounts

- Complete preliminary research and resolution related to un-applied funds (including business to business emails or calls). Escalate to on-shore staff if the initial research is non-conclusive,Prepare Customer Refunds

- This is a manual process of gathering documentation to troubleshoot (less than 5% of the role), Manually apply cash receipts/credit memos/adjustments/write-offs (less than 10% of this role).

- Manually update collection log(s) for cash received, Perform Accounts Receivable Reporting (large client A/R listing and account management reporting), Processes monthly billings for ASO customers

- Modify and/or create invoices (e.g.place in Excel format, summary level adjustments) as needed to meet specific customer requirements, Seek assistance from on-shore billing partners to resolve billing issues.

- Sarbanes Oxley knowledge is a plus, Since we are a public company, to exercise best practices.

Qualification :

- High school education or equivalent experience.

Requirements :

- Associates degree, Accounting, Finance or related field

Preferred :

- Minimum of 4+ yrs. experience in Accounting, finance, business, involving cash application, customer AR reconciliations, customer billing or other applicable write off experience.

- Initial process are manual (Lockbox Automation experience is required for potential future state)

- Intermediate (or higher) level of Microsoft Excel proficiency, including creating pivot tables for reporting purposes and completing V-lookups.

- Accounting Software experience (any Software experience, large or small).

- Reconciliation experience (Balance Accounting system funds against the bank deposits).

Assets : PeopleSoft Financial experience, Credit Card Processing experience (Be able to charge a credit card and review reports).
