Primary Responsibilities :

- Maintain general ledger accounts and related activities for the production of financial statements.

- Reconcile, analyze and review general ledger accounts in preparation for month end close.

- Prepare month-end close journal entries and reviews accounting classifications, in accordance with US GAAP

- Perform Reconciliation of Balance sheet accounts.

- Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis and investigate issues and providing explanations.

- Assist with month end and quarterly end close processes for assigned businesses or entities.

- Prepare documentation in support of external and internal audits and regulatory reporting requirements.

- Analyzes and investigates financial information.

- Provides explanations and interpretations within area of expertise.

Requirements :

- Masters Degree in Accounting.

- 5 - 7 years of professional accounting experience

- Good accounting, analytical and experience in financial reporting, month end close activities & B/S Reconciliation is required.

- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.

- Intermediate proficiency in MS Word, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook

Assets :

- Communicates in an effective manner both verbally and written- Good documentation skills account recs, Policies & Procedures, etc.

- Collaborates with peers to complete work, problem solve and complete assigned projects

- Demonstrates the drive and motivation to deliver high quality results based on thorough analysis

- Possesses sound business knowledge and strong decision making skills

- Adapts to change and is driven to improve processes

- Strong technical accounting skills

- Self-motivated to follow up on issues and pays attention to details

- Accounting and Finance systems experience - PeopleSoft, Essbase, Smart View.

Qualification :

- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.

Requirements:- Bachelors Degree in Accounting.

- 5 - 7 years of professional accounting experience
