Job Description/Job Responsibilities :
- Create High-Level Designs and some Low-Level Designs.
- Provide engineering design of corporate Data Center and LANWAN network Environment
- Provide engineering design of corporate Cisco TCP/IP network Environment
- Implement F5 equipment and performing ongoing configuration associated with virtual server provisioning and maintenance
- Lead, Manage, and Participate in project implementation of TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, Wireless Networks and other networking projects
- Provide effective engineering by demonstrating ownership and accountability for all assigned tasks and projects
- Partner with Infrastructure Leads, and third party service providers in the conception, evaluation, piloting, engineering and operational delivery of solutions for the organization
- Define, document and adhere to technical and operational standards
- Maintain detailed technical documentation (e.g. standards, process, Method of Procedures, Run Books)
- Ensure all tasks are completed with high quality and timely execution
- Strive for best in class teamwork by regularly stretching and consistently measuring execution to a high-bar
- Provide input and participate in strategic planning sessions
- Provide technical leadership to peers and junior personnel within Infrastructure Engineering
- Provide forward thinking and be agile in adopting new technologies to meet evolving business requirements
- Provide peer reviews to deployment engineers to ensure design compliance.
- Review and recommend process changes.
- Coach and mentor other engineers on best practices.
- Work with Project Management / Design Teams to translate initial scope into actionable items.
- Support Critical Incidents/Changes over the on-call week.

Qualifications :
- Qualified candidates should have 10 to 15 years of hands-on Cisco and F5 experience, with recent experience in a Design or Architecture function.
- Qualified applicants need to specialize in F5 load balancing and Cisco Route & Switch, Cisco Data Center and Wireless technologies, but would also want to learn other Cisco Advanced Technologies (i.e. UC).
- Extensive technical and enterprise design experience with network technical concepts, devices and platforms
3 years of experience installing, troubleshooting :
- Cisco equipment
- VPN (IPsec, SSL, GRE)
- Routing Protocols (BGP, EIGRP and OSPF)
- Multi-VRF
- Cisco Routers
- Cisco Switches Nexus 5K, 7K & 9k
- Cisco Catalyst and Workgroup switches
- MPLS- WAAS
- WLAN Technologies
- Cisco Wireless Access Points and Controllers- 3 years of experience installing, troubleshooting- and configuring F5 Load Balancers:
- LTM
- Viprion/VCMP
- Route domains
- NAT/SNAT
- SSL offload
- iRules creation
- Airgap Decryption
2 years of experience installing, troubleshooting and configuring Cloud/Software Defined Networks :
- VMware vCenter
- VMWare NSX Edge Service Gateway
- VMWare NSX Controller
- VMWare Distributed Logical Router
- VXLAN/ Network Overlay Protocols
- Nexus 1000v virtual switches/VSA Appliances
1 year of experience installing and configuring F5 GTM- Knowledge of modern and emerging technology :
- CLOS theory and application
- Public/Private cloud architectures and integration
- Configuration management- platforms (Ansible/Salt/Puppet/etc)
- Strong practical scripting experience
- Kubernetes/Docker
- Openstack
- Openshift
- Mesos
- SDWAN
- Whitebox Switching
Security related knowledge :
- DDOS Mitigation Techniques
- Visbility/Analitics Architecture (Gigamon, Netscout, et al)
- Cisco CCNP or equivalent experience,Cisco CCIE written or equivalent experience
- Excellent oral and written communication, customer service, and presentation skills required.
