Job Description : Responsibilities :

- Analyze current Agile processes, prioritize areas of improvement, and work alongside key stakeholders to implement the improvements

- Facilitate/participate in key Agile rituals across Scrum teams and Drive the Scrum process & practices

- Supports the team through servant leadership bringing them to a self-organized state

- Enacts the values and principles of Scrum

- Coach team members as needed, including resolving conflict

- Assist in training team members and other Optum employees on Agile and Design Thinking concepts

- Coaches Product Owner (PO) on how to maximize ROI and meet their objectives

- Manage projects in JIRA, Git and Confluence; providing software training to team members as needed

- Have experience and expertise in using Agile project management tools like Rally

- Communicate project risks

- Monitor and report on key Agile performance metrics to leadership team

- As a Scrum Master, manage various projects at Optum

- Enables close cooperation across all roles & functions

- Works with management to track progress

- Facilitates creativity & continuous improvement

Qualification :

- Overall experience of 10+ years

- 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master / Agile Project Manager

- Bachelor's degree

- Certified Scrum Master (CSM)

- Proven leadership and motivation skills

- Strong written and oral communication skills a must; can present formally or informally

- Experience using Agile performance metrics to drive accountability and continuous improvement

- Can maintain a high level of energy and engagement
