About EPMO :

The Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO) is a centralized function created to drive Enterprise-level program and project delivery. EPMO provides and governs the processes, tools and methods by which all major bodies of work are delivered to create a best-in-class organization to successfully deliver the Application Services Group agenda.

Role/Position : Project Manager

Total Experience : 10-12 years

Relevant Experience : Functional Project Management role for at least 5 years

Any additional Req. : CAPM / PMP certified

Key Responsibilities :

- Drive project discussions across various departments across the applications

- Participate and contribute in Project Plan and- Estimation Review Sessions

- Complete WBS Build outs for apps owned, Insight Analytics/Excel reporting on multiple complex- assignments independently

- Review and Complete project management dashboard reporting and analysis

- Manage Project Work Breakdown Structures, Project Health Metrics and Reports independently

- Work with multiple stakeholders across time zones, to really understand project status and report the same

- Ensure compliance to organization and project defined standards and processes

- Look for opportunities for process improvement

Essential Skills :

- High potential, high performing candidates preferred

- Proficiency of Project Management Lifecycle, Software Development Lifecycle

- Proficient Knowledge in Project Management Tools like Planview and/or Clarity

- Excellent presentation skills

- Exceptional communication skills to deal with Director and VP level people, including stakeholders from IT and Business, in day-today interactions

- Candidates must be willing to work in US Time zone coverage (in 5.30 PM IST – 3:00 AM IST shift)

- Must be ready to demonstrate flexibility in the working hours, especially during times like release, war room scenarios, important business stakeholder meetings in late evening US times

- Proven management/co-ordination skills working with remote teams, onsite-offshore mode

- Must have been a proven conflict-resolution person

Qualification - Desirable Skills :

- Healthcare Domain knowledge

- Knowledge of RDBMS or Microsoft Access

- Agile / SCRUM Master experience

Work Experience :

- Overall 10-12 years of experience

- 5+ yrs. of PM experience been playing management role

- Should have managed at least 3 projects single app projects / small projects/projects worth 0.5 MN USD

- Proficiency and experience in Project Management Lifecycle, Software Development Life Cycle

- Must be a CAPM/PMP or any similar industry-standard certified person

- Agile project experience (playing champion, or Scrum Master or Agile Coach roles) is preferred, though not essential Technology Careers with Optum. Information and technology have amazing power to transform the health care industry and improve people's lives.
