Job Description :

- Manage a team of ETL developers.

- Research complex functional issues using a variety of resources

- Gather and prepare analysis based on information from internal and external sources to evaluate and demonstrate program effectiveness and efficiency.

- Handle the BA requests for detailed analysis on current application design

- Assume responsibilities for Technical Lead for multiple projects and act as a point of contact to different groups from development team prospective

- Providing accurate and timely estimates for tasks

- Interact with the Business Analysts to understand ETL requirements

- Design complex ETL processes

- Lead projects though all SDLC phases till deployment and work with the team to ensure timely and quality delivery as per release plan.

- Status reporting for the projects

- Recommendations for new data warehouse mart design as well as improvements in current datawarehouse

- Follows and enforces best practices, framework processes, standards and conventions.

- Act as a technical mentor for junior team members

- Act as a reviewer on Technical review panel and review design/code created by other team members

- Build a relationship with project stakeholders/ business partners.

- Ensure compliance with organization and project defined standards and processes

Qualification - Desired Skills :

- B.Tech/MCA/Graduation (Minimum 15 years of formal education, Correspondence courses are not relevant).

- Minimum of 10 -13 years of systems development and implementation experience on Data Warehousing projects

- Hands-on experience with ETL (DataStage/QualityStage)

- Hands-on experience on Shell and Perl scripting

- Hands on experience on writing complex SQLs (DB2/Teradata preferred) and able to write complex queries at his/her own

- Scheduling tool experience (TWS preferred)

- Healthcare domain knowledge is must

- Estimation skills ( SOW Level as well as Detailed estimate)

- Strong communication and presentation skills

- Excellent analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting abilities

- Ability to Work collaboratively in global project with a positive team spirit and ensure team work & coordination.

- Should be flexible with the working hours as he/she needs to closely work with the US counterparts.
