Job Description - Primary responsibilities:

1. Responsible for completion of assigned project within budgetary and scheduling guidelines.

2. Manages overall work of 30-40 team members in multiple work groups.

3. Understanding of US healthcare system and ability to relate project with Healthcare industry requirements.

4. Provide technical leadership to the team & be involved in technical solutions & implementations.

5. Anticipating issues and acting proactively to address potential issues

6. Overall responsible for Project Initiating, Planning, Execution, Monitoring & Control and closure

7. Prepare Project plan(s) including scope statement, assumptions & dependencies

8. Direct, monitor & control the execution of project plan(s)

9. Perform deliverable reviews, provide functional/technical leadership, and support team members in the completion of deliverables

10. Take initiative, propose solutions to improve the overall business process and application performance

11. Manage all the inter-group coordination so as to effectively meet all the project needs

12. Must be familiar with systems scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member.

13. To be responsible for implementation & adherence of quality process as defined by the organization

14. Responsible for Quality Assurance review and evaluation and documentation of team procedures.

15. Assesses performance, rewards results, motivates, and fosters matrix management.

16. Delegates, integrates activities & resolves conflicts.

17. Risk Management - manage the project execution related risks by developing practical mitigation plans, and ensuring proper execution to lower the impact to the business.

18. Assist DM in resource utilization/productivity.

19. Performs project evaluation and cost benefit analysis.

20. Ensure sign-off on deliverables as part of project plan

21. Build a relationship with project stakeholders/ business partners.-

Desired Skills:

1. Minimum of 12- 14- years of systems development and implementation experience on mainframe based systems

2. Strong experience on i-Series/AS400 technologies with COBOL.

3. Any experience or understanding on ILE Concept and CLL is preferred.

4. Should have strong experience in writing SQL queries.

5. US healthcare or PBM knowledge experience (preferred)

6. Exposure to stored producers and MQ (preferred)

7. Ability to identify system changes and verify that technical system specifications meet the business requirements

8. Strong facilitation skills to gain customer requirements

9. Strong problem solving, interviewing and fact finding skills

10. Good communication and presentation skills

11. Good at multitasking and organizational skills

12. Good attitude and self-motivated.

13. Independent communication with business partners to resolve design issues and negotiate project related items such as priorities and completion deadlines.

14. Ability to Work collaboratively in global project with a positive team spirit and ensure team work & coordination.

15. Should be flexible with the working hours as he/she needs to closely work with the US counterparts.

Qualification - Educational Qualifications:B.E/MCA/B.Tech / M.Tech /MS Graduation (Minimum 16 years of formal education, Correspondence courses are not relevant).
