Job Description - Primary Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with internal and external business partners to gain understanding of their business needs and adapt departmental plans and priorities to address business and operational challenges.

- Perform project management activities including creation of project plans, schedules status reports and other required documentation.

- Work closely with the program management office (PMO) to ensure strict adherence to the SDLC process including reviews, IT structures, processes, technologies and deliverables.

- Manage cross-functional inter-dependencies with Development, QA, Solution Architecture, Security, Capital Planning and Infrastructure teams to ensure successful delivery of the project objectives.

- Accountable for managing offshore/remote teams in other global locations (including but not limited to Brazil, India, Australia and Canada) to drive employee engagement and foster teamwork and collaboration.

Required Qualifications :

- A minimum of- 8 years of project management experience (both waterfall and agile)

- 5 years' experience in matrixed resource management and project delivery

- Familiarity with United Healthcare / Optum RSA and UDP process would be most helpful

- Strong communication skills

- Working with stakeholders in the UK (via phone and WebEx)

- Ability to create plans and drive them to completion

- Independent worker

- Can operate with minimal supervision or direction

- Experience managing actual's and forecasting project budgets

- Evidence of offshore management experience and managing remote resources

- Strong communication and negotiation skills

- Should be able to talk to line level and Director/VP level staff and clearly express their thoughts

- Demonstrated experience of establishing a good working relationship and rapport with the client

- Ability to deal with ambiguity including experience successfully working with the unknown

- Proactive demeanor

Qualification - Preferred Qualifications :

- Health insurance experience

- PMP certification

- Experience in information security certification & accreditation requirements for IT systems based on standards like ISO and NIST

- Distributed, Mobile and Web system experience

- Agile/Scrum knowledge as a Scrum Master
