Job Description - Primary responsibilities :

- Developing pioneering approaches to emerging industry trends.

- Contribute to development team and help to achieve key business objectives.

- Contribute to Project Estimation and Tracking Project Schedule.

- Contribute to large, complex projects to achieve key business objectives.

- Collaborate with the team on application architecture design and decision-making.

- Design and implement application enhancements in collaboration with different teams.

- Solves unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business.

- Mentors the Team Technically and keep them motivated.

- Track Project Risk and Issues.

- Responsible for maintaining the Project Metrics and involve in Quality management.

- Translates highly complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences.

- Coordinate activities with other technical and functional areas as required

- Support the QA team during testing via defect fixes, code deployment, clarifications

- Working with the Deployment Lead, peer developers to complete various project deployment activities

- Develop strategies to improve SDLC and governance processes

- Participation in Design reviews, Test Case reviews, and Production Support readiness reviews for new releases.

- Develops innovative approaches on performance optimization & automation.

- Support QA, UAT and Release phases of the project via defect analysis, change maintenance, etc.

Qualification :

- Educational Qualifications: B.E/MCA/B.Tech / MTECH /MS Graduation (Minimum 16 years of formal education, Correspondence courses are not relevant).

- 7 to 9 years of experience in applications development and should have a good knowledge on Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) on mainframe based systems

- Strong experience on i-Series/AS400 technologies with COBOL & DB2, Synon.

- Any experience or understanding on RPG, ILE Concept and CLL is preferred.

- Should have strong experience in writing SQL queries.

- 1 - 2 years of healthcare or PBM knowledge experience (preferred)

- Exposure to stored producers and MQ (preferred)

- Ability to identify system changes and verify that technical system specifications meet the business requirements

- Strong facilitation skills to gain customer requirements

- Strong problem solving, interviewing and fact finding skills

- Good communication and presentation skills

- Good at multitasking and organizational skills

- Good attitude and self-motivated.

- Adaptable to work in Evening SHIFT (11:30 am & 8.30 pm or- 2:30 PM & 12:00AM).
