Job Description - Location- Gurgaon
Candidate should have overall 15 years of experience with minimum 5 years of experience in performing activities to support backend delivery operations for SI projects. Should have supported multiple SI projects, including played Finance/Operations/Logistics role for Govt (SI) projects performing the following activities :
Order to Cash Management :
- Analysis of Orders
- Planning / Forecasting of Billing, Collection and Revenue
- Liase with finance for Invoicing clearance
- Co-ordinates with Project, Procurement and Indirect Taxation Teams for supply planning
- Supports Project Team in Claims processing
- Co-ordinates with Corporate Finance Teams and Project Team for appropriate accounting for Accounts Receivables
Procure to Pay Management :
- Supports Procurement and Project Team in Vendor Management including Selection, Cost Negotiations etc.
- Tracks Clearance of Vendor Purchase Orders as per Budget
- Tracks Vendor Payments as per Payment Terms
EWS (Early Warning Signal) :
- Does impact analysis of Scope Creep, Leakages, Cost Overruns etc. on Cost, Revenue and Margins
- Support Project Teams in understanding and quantifying impacts of new requirements
Financial Reporting : Project Level Financial Reporting on Revenue, Cost, Margin, Plan v/s Actual
Revenue Recognition : Supports Corporate Finance Team on Revenue Recognition Accounting Standards. In addition, this also complies to the norms (set along with Finance & project team) that every such transaction wrt revenue recognition qualifies or contributes for collection with support of relevant project artifacts/evidences/sign-offs etc.
Project Team Support System :
- Provide insights into Contractual and Commercial aspects of the Contract
- Support Project Teams by providing inputs on plan of action to mitigate risks in the project
Management Decision Support System :
- Commercial and Financial Risk Management and tracks the mitigation till closure/acceptance
- Participate in Management Reviews
- Decision Support system for Management
Change Management :
- Does Impact analysis of Change Requests in the project for Financial Parameters
- Approves Change Requests as per corporate guidelines on Risk, Margins etc.
Team Management
- Manage and provide overall guidance for Logistics Management and Communication Management Team
- Engages with Project, Procurement, Indirect Taxation and Finance teams for overall logistics strategy
